Ken Saro-Wiwa Jr. was an important thinker and human-rights activist, whose wit spoke for the very heart of people in the Niger Delta. Ken passed on October 18th, 2016, of a stroke in London. He leaves behind his wife, and their two sons.

The family encourages you to read about and engage with the Ken Saro-Wiwa Centre through this website, which has been shaped by the philosophy of subsequent generations. Ken Jr. was in the process of launching and supporting the establishment of an innovation incubation hub in Port Harcourt.
